The Beverly Drawbridge spans the Danvers River, connecting Beverly and Salem, Massachusetts. The bridge is positioned adjacent to the Route 1A, Veterans Memorial Bridge. Originally built in 1885, the rail bridge currently carries the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) Newport/Rockport commuter line that originates in Boston.

The Big Bend Dam, located on the Missouri River near Fort Thompson, South Dakota, was opened in 1963 by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. The 10,500 ft. long dam utilizes 8 fixed-blade turbines to generate 494,320 kW of power daily.

A large steel mill in Pennsylvania was experiencing continuous problems with the gear drives in their screwdown mill stands. The existing manufacturer’s gear material was breaking down which caused fatiguing, cracks and broken teeth due to inherent designed duty-cycle stresses.

A global aramid fiber manufacturer needed a mixer drivetrain assembly for a new production facility. The stronger-than-steel aramid fiber is used in a wide range of products from firefighter gear, tactical body armor and gloves, to smart phones, rope, tires and sporting goods. The mixer blends a series of advanced plastic polymers which is then spun into fibers for commercial applications.
